Mom and I traveled to Minnesota to to visit Terry Diebold and his extended clan. We also took a two day road trip south into the Loess Hill Country of Iowa. Our mid-west trip concluded with 2 days spent at the incomparable "River House". Nice ending.
Not a joke. But nutty just the same. The actual spot is in a flat field. No visible sign of a peak, as none exists at the highest point in Iowa. There are many examples of mid-west humor. This is a good example.
